Reverse Cycle Split Systems

Reverse Cycle Split Systems

Through new, advanced technology, Inverter air conditioners are more economical to operate and quieter to run than conventional units. They can handle greater extremes in temperature, are smoother and more stable in operation and reach the desired temperature more quickly than conventional air conditioners.

How does reverse cycle air conditioning work?

Designed to cool or heat multiple rooms at once, Reverse Cycle Split Systems feed refrigerated air through a series of vents in the home.  Usually these vents are in the ceiling.

These air conditioners each consist of a compressor, a fan and a heat exchange coil and use a refrigerant to cool or heat the air.   Reverse Cycle Split air conditioners use a concealed ducted fan coil unit to distribute air to the rooms you want to heat and cool.

Split system room air conditioners are made up of two separate units, one located inside the room and the other outside. In cooling mode, warm air from the room is drawn into the indoor unit where heat is absorbed and removed. The air is recirculated back into the room providing cool, comfortable living even on the hottest summer day.

By simply flicking the switch your heat pump runs in reverse to keep your room cosy and warm on winter days.
